Loro Parque is a zoo and leisure center located in Puerto de la Cruz, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Created in 1970, it is one of the animal parks with the longest trajectory in Spain and one of the most interesting has been generated over the years. Since its inauguration it had the highest concentration of parrots and the first parrot show in Europe. Since then, more than 40 million tourists have passed through its premises, and recently it has been voted on Trip Advisor as the best zoo in the world.
It has an incredibly well-kept environment, both for the welfare of the animals and the visitor. And it is that Loro Parque is much more than a zoo: it is a center of preservation of nature with capital letters. It has its own foundation for the preservation of species, which combines field research, educational work, responsible breeding programs and numerous local activities.

Discovery Tour
Join us and enjoy our informative and fun Discovery Tour that will show you the secrets and curiosities of the park and its animals, behind the scenes. Do you know how much an orca weighs? o Why do we have a group of single gorillas? o What do penguins eat?
Throughout the tour, which lasts 1 ¾ hour, our friendly guides will explain interesting details and anecdotes about our animals and their habitats, the technical deployment of the facilities, the beginnings of our history, as well as the technological development and machinery that makes this spectacular park internationally recognized.
The Tour behind the scenes is done daily in different times and languages such as Spanish, English, German, French, Dutch and Russian.

Loro Parque podrá solicitar al usuario cualquier documento que acredite su identidad y residencia en las Islas Canarias.

- Entrada gratuita para menores de 6 años. Precios especiales para niños de entre 6 a 11 años.
- Los menores de 18 años deben ir siempre acompañados de un adulto.
- Loro Parque podrá solicitar al usuario cualquier documento que acredite su identidad, su edad y/o residencia en las Islas Canarias.
- Los tickets adquiridos tienen un periodo de validez de 1 año desde la fecha de compra.
- La compra de su ticket no va sujeta a una fecha específica. Puede canjear su ticket cuando quiera, siempre que sea dentro del periodo de validez.
