Description
Departure from Puerto de la Cruz, towards La Villa de La Orotava, the only city in the Canary Islands with an almost entirely intact historic center, which is why it is declared a historic complex, and which has a charming and cozy town, with many of its streets paved, which makes walks along it comforting. Here we will have a brief walk through the historic center, where we will visit the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, etc., and we will be captivated by the views that this wonderful place offers us.
From here, we will head towards the Teide National Park, making the appropriate stops at the most important viewpoints which offer us views of the Valley that also includes Puerto de La Cruz and Los Realejos. We will visit the National Park, seeing the spectacular shapes that the orography of the volcanic terrain has left shaped over time. In Los Roques de García, we will enjoy free time to walk through the designated area and contemplate the impressive views. From here we can admire Pico Viejo and the majestic Teide, structures that are unique on the planet. The hundreds of cones, lava flows or caves that exist enrich its scientific and landscape interest. To all this, we must add the richness of the large number of endemic fauna and flora existing in the Park.
Once the National Park has been visited, we will have free time for lunch (not included). And to end the excursion, we return through the dorsal mountain range, going down Monte de La Esperanza, from where you can enjoy wonderful views.
